Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center seeks a part-time Behavioral Health Receptionist to greet patients, manage the reception area, and support the Behavioral Health Department.

You will welcome patients by phone and in person, answer inquiries, assist with records, and help maintain confidentiality and accurate financial information.

The role offers weekend work (Saturdays and Sundays), 20 hours per week, and a competitive pay range of $18.00 to $22.79 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School diploma
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in related field
• At least one year of customer service experience working in a medical/mental health office or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and assist with inquiries at the front desk.
• Maintain the reception area and manage patient records and payments.
• Protect patient confidentiality and support billing and scheduling as needed.
• Collaborate with the Behavioral Health team to ensure smooth daily operations.
