Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Direct Care Technician for a full-time, first shift (8am–4pm) at our Washington, NC facility. You will help maintain a therapeutic, safe group setting and attend to clients' basic needs while providing informal counseling in the detox center using behavioral techniques and supportive strategies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level, on-the-job training provided.
• Peer support certification or CNA certification a plus, but not required.
• Valid state driver’s license and auto insurance for vehicles used for work.
