Easterseals PORT Health in Washington, NC seeks a compassionate Direct Care Technician to join our full-time First Shift (8am–4pm, every other weekend). You will help maintain a therapeutic group environment, attend to clients’ welfare, and provide informal counseling using behavioral techniques while supporting basic needs.

As a Direct Care Technician, on the team you will be responsible for providing and maintaining a therapeutic and safe group environment and attending to the welfare and basic needs of clients. You will provide informal counseling in the detox center that involve behavioral techniques, reality therapy, supportive encouragement and socialization skills for the clients.
