As a (CSR) in our Call Center, located at our office in Cherry Creek Colorado, you’ll be a vital part of this mission, helping individuals and families take their first steps toward recovery. Our team is passionate about what we do, and we’re looking for a like-minded individual who is eager to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those who need our services most.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background screen and drug screen (including THC/marijuana) is required for employment with our organization.
Role Summary:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Sunshine Behavioral Health is the first line of contact for potential clients. CSRs respond to inbound and outbound calls with a focus on understanding client needs and offering compassionate solutions. They are a welcoming voice for potential clients, families, and referral sources, offering empathy and clear guidance through their treatment options. Successful CSRs are skilled at quickly building rapport and redirecting to guide clients through the decision-making process to help them identify the best support for their recovery or mental health journey. CSRs use a customer-focused approach to engage potential clients, provide clear information, and ensure that the journey into treatment begins with care and confidence.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this role is going to be outgoing, driven, and dedicated to our mission. They will have the ability to build connections with prospective clients quickly through empathy, understanding, and trust. They have experience in roles with a focus on customer service and sales skills (including soft sales / upselling). This may include experience in hospitality, service, call centers, sales, or other customer-facing jobs. Growth opportunities include our Admissions Coordinator role, which is a type of inside sales role where doing what is right for our clients is our top priority.
Responsibilities:
- Drive successful outcomes by nurturing client relationships, explaining treatment benefits, addressing questions, and maintaining a positive, solution-oriented approach throughout the intake process.
- Work alongside our dedicated Admissions team to ensure a smooth client onboarding process.
- Address client care concerns efficiently and ensure every individual feels supported and valued.
- Log client information accurately in Salesforce and create electronic medical records (EMR).
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and all company policies regarding the handling of protected health information (PHI).
- Share valuable client feedback with management to help improve our services and overall client satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An understanding of addiction and/or mental health is preferred, but not required.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven experience in customer service, call centers, or sales, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Willingness to work shift hours as dictated by scheduling needs, this may include early, mid, or late-shifts and a weekend day.
- A passion for helping others and a genuine interest in making a difference in the lives of individuals and families.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage high-stress situations with professionalism and empathy.
- The ability to engage and persuade clients with a consultative, solution-oriented approach.
- As this role is primarily focused on communication with prospective clients and their loved ones during emotionally charged situations, the successful CSR candidate must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, in both written and verbal form.
