Alexander Youth Network in Greensboro, NC seeks a Behavioral Health Counselor to provide direct care and coordinate therapeutic activities within a treatment environment.

You'll implement interventions, monitor clients in crisis, and report to the clinical team, contributing to a supportive, inclusive setting with opportunities for growth and development.

Competenze

• High school diploma is required.
• B.A./B.S. in a related human service field is preferred.
• Four years of experience in Mental Health is preferred.
• Ability to solve practical problems and address various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

• Provide, coordinate, and monitor a variety of direct care activities for the clients in our treatment environment.
• Develop, implement, and facilitate therapeutic activities consistent with the agency's Model of Care.
• You'll offer appropriate interventions to assist in maintaining consumer baseline behaviors.
• You will provide continuous monitoring of clients in crisis and report behaviors to therapeutic and medical staff.
• You will also participate in 1 to 1 monitoring of clients when deemed appropriate.
