Job summary

BrightView seeks a dedicated Counselor to support recovery journeys on our treatment team. You will conduct group therapy, assist with intake assessments, and provide crisis and de-escalation techniques in a dynamic clinical setting.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary onsite team, document care in the electronic health record, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards while fostering compassionate, harm-reduction oriented care.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic and compassionate approach to support recovery journeys.
• Collaborative team player in multidisciplinary healthcare settings.
• Adaptable and agile in a dynamic work environment.
• Technologically capable; proficient with MS Office applications.
• Committed to BrightView's compliance culture and integrity.
• Harm reduction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments.
• Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques.
• Assist with treatment planning and monitor progress toward goals.
• Coordinate patient care with onsite multidisciplinary team; attend meetings.
• Document treatment data timely in electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance.
