IU Health Bloomington Hospital seeks a Behavioral Health Counselor to support patients and families through individual, group, and family counseling within the Addiction Treatment and Recovery Center. This role performs psychosocial assessments and leads utilization review and discharge planning to ensure safe, timely care.

You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, applying CBT, MI, and DBT, and act as a liaison for child and adult protective services cases.

Competenze

• Masters Degree in a mental health field (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related)
• 0 years of relevant experience
• Licensure eligibility in Indiana (LCSW/LMHC/LMFT/LCAC) or permanent LSW/LMHC-A/LMFT-A by hire
• BLS certification may be required
• Knowledge of CBT/MI/DBT and crisis intervention

Mansioni

• Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling.
• Lead evening IOP group participation as needed.
• Perform utilization review and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team to ensure timely, safe services.
• Provide psychosocial assessments and crisis intervention as needed.
