Job summary

IU Health in Monticello, Indiana is seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor with MS licensure to provide individual, group, and family counseling, conduct utilization review, and assist with discharge planning in the clinical milieu.

You will collaborate with the health care team to ensure safe, timely care, assess psychosocial risk factors, and communicate complex patient/family needs while mobilizing community resources and coordinating with protective services as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a mental health field such as Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field is required.
• Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Requires current license in the state of Indiana as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC or HSPP.
