Job summary

Advocate Health in Davidson, NC, seeks a licensed behavioral health professional to join a multidisciplinary team. You will assess, plan, and deliver individual, family, and group therapy to emotionally disturbed and mentally ill patients.

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday daytime hours, with a pay range of $28.55–$42.85 per hour. A Master’s degree is required and state licensure within 6 months, CPI/CPR within 90 days, and clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in a relevant human services field.
• Must be issued an associate licensure and/or certification within 6 months.
• Successful CPI and CPR training within 90 days of hire.
• Clinical experience preferred.
• Case management experience with SMI population and/or substance abuse preferred.
• Good therapeutic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with guardians and community agencies to meet patient care needs.
• Assess patients’ problems, needs, and level of functioning.
• Writes treatment plans according to diagnosis, age, and clinical presentation.
• Provide various treatment modalities and theoretical applications.
• Assists individuals, groups, and families through the counseling relationship; evaluate and treat mental disorders.
• Develop discharge plans and follow through with termination process.
• Document patient care accurately in the medical record.
• Present cases in clinical team meetings clearly and concisely.
