Job summary

Housing Works Inc. is seeking a Clinic Operations Manager for Behavioral Health in New York City. The role oversees daily operations across Behavioral Health Therapy, Psychiatry, and Substance Use programs, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate has strong supervisory experience, healthcare operations knowledge, and proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and insurance verification. Evening/weekend coverage may be required to support operations.

Qualifications

4+ years of healthcare operations experience.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Familiarity with DOH/OMH/Article 28/OASAS regulatory requirements.
Experience with EMR/EHR systems and insurance verification.

Responsibilities

Supervise Operations Assistants and oversee scheduling.
Coordinate operations across Behavioral Health, Psychiatry and Substance Use services.
Lead outreach to support patient engagement and program growth.
Perform pre-visit chart audits and ensure consent/ documentation.
Verify insurance eligibility for remote visits and resolve barriers.
Collaborate on supply ordering and inventory management.
Provide general operational support across clinic sites.
Serve as liaison for behavioral health programs.
Monitor workflows to improve efficiency and patient care delivery.
