StartCare, Inc. seeks a Behavioral Health Supervisor to oversee counselors and elevate treatment outcomes across East Harlem and South Bronx clinics. The role emphasizes supervision, risk reduction, and engaging patients with high-risk needs.

The position requires LMSW or MSW with licensure, clinical supervision experience, and strong knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. Multidisciplinary collaboration and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling required.
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) required.
• Minimum of two years as staff trainer or treatment supervisor.
• Experience with DSM‑V diagnoses and psychodynamics knowledge.
• HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations knowledge.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide initial, annual, and crisis mental health evaluations as needed.
• Maintain a caseload and supervise CASAC Counselors weekly.
• Provide clinical supervision focusing on case analysis and treatment planning.
• Ensure documentation in EMR, ERDS, HRA-STARS, OASAS-CDS, and manuals.
• Assess needs of patients with co-occurring disorders and perform MSEs.
• Complete risk assessments and safety planning, with notifications.
• Train staff in evidence-based practices and HIPAA compliance.
• Provide coaching on management of high‑risk patients and care coordination.
• Attend weekly supervision, Case Conferences, and MDT Meetings.
• Cover clinic management tasks as needed and travel occasionally.
