Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health RN to join the St Joseph's North Behavioral Health Center in Lutz, FL. The role is full-time (36 hours per week) with night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, alternating weekends, and no on-call requirement.

The Clinical Nurse II will care for patients independently, delegate tasks, and act as preceptor and charge nurse as needed while upholding nursing standards and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• RN is required and BLS certification is required.
• Associate's or Diploma in Nursing is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of licensed RN experience is required.
• Nurse specialty is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently caring for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other health care team members.
• Maintaining professional accountability and development.
• Serving as preceptor and charge nurse when required.
