Job summary

BayCare Health Systems is seeking a Clinical Nurse II for the North Bay Recovery Center in Lutz, FL. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, with a night shift from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am.

The role involves independently caring for patient groups, supervising care delivery, and acting as preceptor and charge nurse as needed. Florida RN licensure and BLS are required, with nursing education as listed.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Florida (or compact state) with active BLS certification.
• Prior experience in clinical nursing and patient care.
• Comfort with precepting and supporting other staff.

The Clinical Nurse II Is Responsible For

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• The Clinical Nurse II performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
