Job summary

BayCare Health Systems is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health RN to join North Bay Recovery Center in Lutz, FL. This full-time position offers a night shift (6:45 pm–7:15 am) with a 36-hour workweek and no on-call duties.

The Clinical Nurse II will provide independent patient care, supervise care delivery, and serve as preceptor/charge nurse as assigned. Required: RN license, BLS, 2 years' RN experience; education: associate's or diploma; Bachelor's preferred.

• Facility: North Bay Recovery Center
• Status: Full time, 36 hours per week
• Exempt: No
• Shift Hours: 6:45 pm - 7:15 AM
• Shift: Nights
• On Call: No

The Clinical Nurse II is responsible for:

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• The Clinical Nurse II performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Certifications and Licensures:

• Required - BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Required - RN (Registered Nurse)
• Preferred - Nurse Specialty

Education :

• Required - Associate's or Diploma in Nursing
• Preferred - Bachelor's in Nursing

Experience:

• Required - 2 years' experience as a licensed RN and completion of all Clinical Nurse Requirements
