The role involves answering calls with excellent service, scheduling per protocol, scanning documents into the EMR, and coordinating with practices to keep data accurate and accessible.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare setting (minimum 2 years).
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
• Strong patient confidentiality and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls with excellent customer service.
• Schedule patients per algorithm and use nurse triage when needed.
• Scan paperwork into EMR.
• Ensure data items are accessible in EMR and correctly located.
• Provide directory information to internal and external inquirers.
• Maintain professionalism at all times.
• Know department services and offerings.
• Perform other duties as required.
