Job summary

Point Quest is seeking a Behavioral Aide II in Los Angeles to support instructional plans and implement IEPs and BIPs. The role involves assisting teachers, providing tailored instruction, and supervising students across the school day, including meals and transitions.

You will record daily behavior data, respond to crises using Pro-ACT/CPI, and substitute as needed to maintain continuity of instruction. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference for related experience and

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required for BA I-II, bachelor's degree for BA III.
Experience in school or treatment settings with students needing learning, social, emotional, or behavioral support.
DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance required.
Pro-ACT, CPI intervention training and CPR certifications preferred.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support educational plans and implement IEPs and BIPs.
Provide instructional support tailored to individual student needs.
Attend to student supervision during class breaks, meals, transportation, and bathroom use.
Record daily data on student behavior, skills progression, incidents and learning objectives.
Respond to emergencies using Pro-ACT or CPI methods.
Substitute as needed to ensure continuity of instruction.
