Behavioral Emotional and Academic Mentoring LLC is seeking a part-time Behavioral Aide to support students with special needs in the Los Angeles area. Qualifications

• Proof of High School diploma or equivalency; or proof of an A.A. degree, 48 college units; or pass the Paraeducator Exam.
• Ability to communicate orally with correct language usage and maintain professionalism.
• Willingness to participate in mandatory training and growth opportunities offered by BEAM.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students with special needs.
• Assist in activities planned by school district staff.
• Prepare and develop instructional materials and activities.
• Assist staff with in-class activities and manage classroom materials.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom environment and supervise playgrounds.
