Community Services For Autistic Adults & Chi in Montgomery Village, MD is seeking a Behavior Specialist to train staff on behavior plans and monitor BMP implementation on site.

You will travel to school and residential settings within Montgomery County, provide follow-up consultations, and coordinate with the BCBA and educators to support students and residents.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Psychology or ABA, strong communication, and a willingness to train staff with MANDT certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or ABA related field.
• Minimum of one year experience desirable in training on behavior plan implementation or related ABA training.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with good organizational and interpersonal abilities; computer literacy required.

Responsabilités

• Train new staff in BMP in school settings and residences.
• Re-train staff on BMP as directed by the BCBA.
• Travel on-site to monitor BMP implementation and provide follow-up consultations.
• Conduct on-site visits and trainings per BCBA instruction.
• Coordinate with BCBA and Director of Youth Services for staff trainings.
• Coordinate with Residential Managers for staff trainings.
• Provide feedback to staff on BMP and instructional programs.
• Review and report behavioral data to BCBA with clear communication.
• Complete behavior notes and reports within 48 hours of visits.
• Ensure distribution of notes to designated personnel.
