Job summary

In STEPPS INC is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with autism in home, school, and daycare settings. You will apply ABA and PRT to teach essential life skills and track progress through data collection.

Role includes mileage reimbursement, paid drive time, and extra pay for evenings, weekends, and holidays. A high school diploma is required, with a preference for a bachelor’s degree and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Reliable car, proof of auto insurance and valid driver’s license required.
• Clean criminal background check.
• 4-8 months of ABA experience or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with clients using ABA and PRT strategies.
• Complete data collection and notes as directed by Supervisors.
• Participate in trainings, evaluations, and team meetings.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Bring required materials (e.g., iPad, toys) to sessions.
• Follow schedule set by administrative staff and supervisors.
• Comply with all reporting and payroll processes.
