Job summary

Dream Big Children’s Center in Indio, CA is seeking a dedicated caregiver to work directly with children to support behavior goals and learning through play and personalized plans.

You will follow individualized plans, use creativity and patience to teach new skills, support families, and track progress while collaborating with your team for the child’s best outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children with autism for at least 6 months.
• Complete TB test and livescan clearance.
• Must be comfortable with diaper changes.
• Must be available M-F 8-5PM.

Schedule

Must be available Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

What You’ll Do

• Working directly with children (usually one-on-one) to support behavior goals
• Following a personalized plan created for each child
• Using play, creativity, and patience to teach new skills
• Supporting families and sharing progress
• Taking notes and tracking the child’s progress
• Working closely with your team and supervisor to make sure the child is getting the best support possible

• Experience working with children is a big plus (but we’ll provide training if you’re new!)
