Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

You will be part of a compassionate team, able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting up to 50 pounds, with comprehensive training provided. Pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour, reflecting experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, lift up to 50 pounds).
• Candidates must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with a team in a supportive environment.
