Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the direction of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while promoting safety.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about helping children reach their full potential. Comprehensive training is provided, and the pay range is $17–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support skill acquisition.
• Collaborate with team and participate in comprehensive training.
