Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism, working one-on-one under a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We offer comprehensive training, a supportive team environment, and a pay range of $20.00–$29.00 per hour. Candidates must be patient, compassionate, able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and complete background checks.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test
• Background check can be passed
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors.
• Be patient, compassionate, and collaborative with the team.
