Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We offer comprehensive training, chances to grow in a structured career path, and a pay range of $17–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and a TB test (if not in last year).
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with team and participate in training provided by Centria Autism.
