Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques.

We provide comprehensive training, emphasize teamwork, and offer the chance to make a meaningful impact every day. The role involves physical demands and ongoing assessment of progress; pay ranges from $19 to $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience with children with autism preferred but training is provided.
• Must be 18+ years old and able to work in a team.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test (if not done in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move/lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with the team and maintain progress notes and documentation.
