Job summary

Patterns Behavioral Services, Inc. is hiring for part-time ABA assistant roles in California. You will provide one-on-one therapy to children with autism and developmental disabilities, following individualized plans with support from a clinical team.

No prior ABA experience is required as paid training is provided; candidates must be available Monday–Friday 1–7 pm and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be available Monday–Friday between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
• Have a valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Be interested in working with children and helping them build new skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow individualized treatment plans during one-to-one sessions.
• Teach new skills through structured activities and play.
• Help clients practice daily living and personal care skills, which may include toileting and hygiene.
• Record accurate data on client progress.
• Communicate professionally with families, supervisors, and team members.
• Attend scheduled sessions, meetings, and training.

Job description

Pay: $22–$25/hour
Schedule: Part time, approximately 10–15 hours per week
Availability needed: Monday–Friday between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Settings: Clients’ homes, clinics, and/or schools
Experience: No ABA experience required; paid training is provided
Help children with autism and other developmental disabilities build communication, independence, and daily living skills. At Patterns Behavioral Services, you’ll provide one‑to‑one ABA services with training and support from an experienced clinical team.
