Patterns Behavior Services, Inc. in Orange County, CA, seeks a Part-Time Behavior Technician to support children with autism and developmental disabilities. You’ll work in homes, clinics, or schools using ABA techniques to build communication and independence.

We provide paid, in-house training and ongoing support. Applicants should be 18+, hold a high school diploma or GED, and have a valid CA driver’s license with reliable transportation.

As a Behavior Technician (BT), you'll be the guiding hand helping our clients develop essential skills, improve communication, and gain independence ? and you'll do it with the support of a caring team and comprehensive training. No experience? No problem! We provide all the paid, in-house, ongoing training you'll need to succeed and grow in this rewarding career.

Who are we looking for?

• People who love working with children and helping others
• Students studying Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Early Childhood, or related fields
• Babysitters, nannies, daycare workers
• Direct Support Professionals, Respite Workers, Paraprofessionals
• LNA/CNA professionals
• And anyone eager to make a difference!
• Ideal candidates are available Monday-Friday, between 1 pm and 7 pm, for about 10-15 hours a week.
• You should be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and hold a valid California driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required ? we?ll train you!

Your responsibilities:

• Implement personalized ABA techniques in various settings
• Collect accurate data to track progress
• Participate in therapy sessions, staff meetings, and training sessions
• Support with daily living and personal care routines?including toileting, hygiene, and self-care skills?using structured, individualized ABA strategies to promote independence.
