Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism. You will implement individualized plans under a BCBA, using evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while managing challenging behaviors.

Training provided; no prior experience required. The role involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and collaborating in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Operate under supervision of a BCBA and support the child's goals.
• Provide patient, compassionate and team-oriented care to clients.
