Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training so you are equipped and empowered to help each child, even if you don’t currently have experience. Your role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds when needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Work under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Assist in reducing interfering behaviors.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
