Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will use proven techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills, while staying patient, compassionate, and safe. Training is provided; you may lift up to 50 pounds and must be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist BCBA under supervision and guidance.
• Assist children in mobility and safety tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
