Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to help children and adults with autism and related developmental differences build communication, social, and daily living skills. You’ll work one-on-one with clients in home and community settings with guidance from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

This role offers competitive hourly pay ($21-$24), paid training, mileage reimbursement, and benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, plus a 401(k) plan and college

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Plus one of: college coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field; or at least one year of relevant experience (Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, paraprofessional, child development professional, camp counselor, or similar)

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills
• Support positive behavior development
• Record session data and client progress
• Create engaging and structured learning environments
