Job summary

Centria Autism in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test (if not done in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
