Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, following BCBA-guided plans, using evidence-based techniques to build communication and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patience, and compassion, with comprehensive training provided and opportunities to grow within Centria Autism.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test (within last year)
• Ability to pass a preemployment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavior intervention under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors while ensuring child safety.
• Assist in implementing individualized plans and documenting progress.
