Job summary

AbleLight is seeking an entry-level Behavior Technician in St. Louis to work under a Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) and implement behavioral plans. You will support clients with behavioral reduction tasks and daily living skills in a supervised setting.

You will collect data with Central Reach, maintain confidentiality, and communicate progress to caregivers while following established protocols. Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Job Summary:

This position is designed as an entry level role. Under the close supervision by a Clinical Supervisor, BCBA, the BT will implement behavioral reduction or treatment plans for individuals with behavioral-based developmental disorders.

· Working under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor, BCBA, implements treatment plans meant to reduce problematic behavior or improve daily living skills.

· Collects and analyzes behavioral data using Central Reach software.

· Maintains client confidentiality and client dignity.

· Provides updates to parents or other caretakers regarding client progress or ongoing treatments, as instructed by the Clinical Supervisor.

· Ensures that all treatments provided follow established behavior reduction and behavior skills protocols.

· Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

· Detailed oriented and proficient oral and written communication skills.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: Some understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Lic or Cert Ability: to obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification within 45 days of hire.
