Job summary

Centria Healthcare in Richmond, VA is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians who will work one-on-one with children with autism.

You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and use evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding.
