Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Registered Behavior Technicians in Stafford, VA. In this role you will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candidate must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA guidance.
