Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA to implement individualized behavior plans.

We use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. Training is provided, and you will grow within a supportive team as you help each child reach their full

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candidate will obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Monitor and support children to reduce challenging behaviors.
