Job summary

Connect ABA + Therapy seeks compassionate Behavior Technicians to support children with autism and developmental disabilities. You will implement BIPs under a BCBA and help clients build communication, social, self-care, and living skills in homes, schools, and community settings.

You will collect data, apply ABA techniques like DTT and NET, and contribute to progress updates for families. Training and ongoing development are provided to enhance ABA knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) created by the BCBA to address each client’s specific needs and goals.
• Provide one-on-one support using ABA techniques such as discrete trial training (DTT), natural environment teaching, and behavior management strategies.
• Collect and accurately record data on client progress and behaviors using provided tools.
• Assist clients in developing functional skills across key areas, including communication, social skills, self-care, and independent living.
• Promote a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages client participation and independence.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to review client progress and make necessary adjustments to the intervention strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers, providing updates on progress and sharing important information.
• Take part in ongoing training and professional development to further your ABA knowledge and skills.
