Job summary

Connect ABA + Therapy is hiring a Behavior Technician to work under a BCBA, implementing tailored ABA plans and teaching essential life skills across home, school, and community settings.

You will deliver one-on-one ABA instruction, collect data, and help clients develop communication, social, self-care, and independent living skills while traveling to client locations as needed. Training and ongoing professional development are provided.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention strategies as outlined by the BCBA to support each client’s unique needs and objectives.
• Deliver one-on-one instruction using ABA methods such as discrete trial teaching, naturalistic approaches, and behavior management techniques.
• Record and track data on client behavior and progress with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support clients in developing skills in communication, social interaction, self-care, and independent living.
• Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere to keep clients engaged and motivated.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and team to review progress and adapt strategies for consistent implementation across all environments.
• Maintain open communication with clients, families, and colleagues to provide updates and share important information.
• Participate in ongoing professional training to continually enhance ABA expertise.
