Job summary

POPS ABA is seeking caring Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) to work with a BCBA, helping implement personalized behavior plans in home, school, and community settings.

You will apply ABA techniques, collect progress data, and teach essential life skills while receiving extensive training and ongoing support to help clients reach meaningful goals. This role involves travel to client sites and working closely with families.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients’ homes, schools, or other settings.

Responsibilities

• Follow BIPs by the BCBA to address client goals.
• Provide direct, one-on-one instruction to clients using ABA techniques.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Help clients acquire functional skills in communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
• Create a supportive, positive environment that promotes engagement and autonomy.
• Work closely with the BCBA and team to review progress and adjust strategies.
• Communicate clearly with clients, families, and team members, providing progress updates.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance ABA skills and knowledge.
