Job summary

POPS ABA seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to work closely with a BCBA, delivering evidence-based ABA services to children in home, school, and community settings.

You will implement plans, collect data on progress, and help clients build functional skills while maintaining ethical standards and client confidentiality. Travel to client locations is expected, with ongoing training and support provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) created by the BCBA to address each client’s unique needs.
• Provide direct, one-on-one instruction to clients using ABA techniques such as DTT, naturalistic teaching, and behavior management.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using designated tools and methods.
• Help clients acquire and practice functional skills in communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
• Create a supportive, positive environment that promotes engagement, motivation, and autonomy.
• Work closely with the BCBA and team to review progress and adjust strategies for consistency across environments.
• Communicate clearly with clients, families, and team members, providing progress updates.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance ABA skills and knowledge.
