Job summary

Kid Clan Services, Inc. seeks a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support children on the autism spectrum and other developmental challenges. You will collaborate with a BCBA to implement personalized behavior plans and teach essential life skills in home, school, and community settings.

You will provide evidence-based ABA interventions, track progress, and help clients achieve meaningful goals while receiving extensive training and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions, implement behavior plans, and collect accurate data.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients’ homes, schools, or other settings.
• Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Follow the BIPs created by the BCBA to address client goals.
• Provide direct, one-on-one instruction using ABA techniques such as DTT and naturalistic teaching.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Help clients acquire functional skills in communication, socialization, self-care, and independence.
• Create a supportive environment that promotes engagement, motivation, and autonomy.
• Work with the BCBA and team to review progress and adjust strategies.
• Communicate progress with clients, families, and team members.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance ABA skills.
