Job summary

ABA Centers of New Jersey in Monroe, NJ, is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT). The role supports direct client ABA therapy in homes, schools, and clinics, with afternoons and evenings required, plus weekend shifts.

Paid training is provided, and there is a pathway toward RBT certification with supervision. Starting pay is $22.25/hour for BTs, with opportunities for growth via our ABA Academy of Excellence and mentorship toward BCBA certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review
• NJ candidates must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, in healthcare, or in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Direct Client Support
• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision
• Track Progress & Maintain Quality
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families
• Participating in team meetings and ongoing training
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed
