Centria Autism in Yuma, AZ is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, implementing individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors, with training provided. The role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork, and may involve lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR, First Aid certification and TB test required or can be obtained.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist in reducing interfering behaviors with guidance from a BCBA.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment and collaborate with team.
