Centria Autism in Arizona is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. The role requires physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds; comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test; pass background check.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and ensure safety during activities and transitions.
• Maintain documentation and communicate progress with the BCBA and family.
