Job summary

The Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) in Hammond, LA is seeking motivated Behavior Technicians to deliver ABA therapy under supervision. Roles involve implementing treatment plans in various settings including center, home, school, or telehealth, with a focus on skill acquisition and behavior support.

Responsibilities include data collection, maintaining records, and adhering to CARD policies. A high school diploma is required and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass initial CARD Behavior Technician Training program, including a comprehensive written exam and field evaluation.
• Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct treatment to patients under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor in a 1:1 or group environment.
• Provide treatment that meets CARD’s clinical quality standards.
• Collect and record data on patient progress with high fidelity.
• Review and implement Clinical Supervisor feedback during each treatment session.
• Maintain accurate and timely records.
• Adhere to CARD policies and procedures.
