Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one support in home- or community-based settings. You’ll work with clients under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts to develop social and communication skills and support independence.

Applicants should be at least 18 with a high school diploma. Relevant coursework or experience in psychology, education, or related fields is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development; or at least 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or similar development delays.
• Help build social and communication skills.
• Follow behavior-change plans created by board-certified behavior analysts.
• Collect and document progress and session information accurately.
• Create encouraging, structured interactions during sessions.
