Job summary

Centria Autism in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children and implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training is provided. Candidates should be patient, compassionate, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and willing to obtain required certifications during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age and high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and implement individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with supervision.
