Job summary

Centria is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to build communication, social and daily living skills while reducing disruptive behaviors.

Training is provided to those without experience. The role involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a pay range of $19–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be patient, compassionate and able to collaborate effectively in a team.
• High school diploma or GED required, with CPR/First Aid and TB testing possible.
• Background check required and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children following individualized behavior plans under a BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based strategies.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress during sessions.
