Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is hiring Behavior Technicians to deliver one-on-one ABA services in a center-based setting, collaborating with BCBAs to implement treatment plans for children on the autism spectrum. The role offers training, supportive team environment, and opportunities for growth.

The position emphasizes reliable, compassionate care, strong communication with families, and ability to work both independently and as part of a treatment team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred.
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though training will be provided.
• Reliable personal transportation with ability to commute.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information (HIPAA).
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report progress.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing plans.
• Be responsive to needs of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and applicable parties.
• Physically keep up with clients as they move around session areas (various activities).
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
